Luka's Hut, our beautiful self-designed and self-built eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel.  Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance.  The river is quiet water, perfect for swimming, rowing our little boat, or going on a adventure in the Canadian canoe or on our SUPboard.  And there is a wonderful garden sauna with a wood-burner stove down by the river.

Luka's Hut sleeps 1-6 plus a cot for an infant over 2 bedrooms.  The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and sliding patio doors.  The second bedroom has a built-in double bed bunk bed suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids.  The bathroom has a wonderfully relaxing cast-iron bath, a sink and a toilet.  The living area has a 4 seater sofa, and leather reading chair, a swivel egg chair in front of the fire, a dining table and 6 chairs, a kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment. There is underfloor heating supported by our heatpump in the cupboard with the beautiful painting of Ganzendiep reed created by our dear friend, Yara Kanaan.
